Dylan Kirkpatrick posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Erie's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 4-13-1 when he doesn't).
