Basketball Recap: Marco De Carvalho Key Part of a Team Effort in Bluejackets Win

There's no place like home for Admiral Farragut, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They blew past the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder 66-43 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the BlueJackets have posted since February 2, 2024.

Admiral Farragut got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marco De Carvalho out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds De Carvalho has posted since back in January of 2024. Hayden Hundt was another key player, putting up 15 points and five rebounds.

Admiral Farragut smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Admiral Farragut has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Out-of-Door Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
