Washington lost to Loogootee back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Washington Hatchets were the clear victor by a 57-32 margin over the Loogootee Lions. The Hatchets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Washington's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Loogootee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tell City at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Loogootee, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Springs Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
