The matchup between Pittsburg and Gorham on Friday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers blew past the Huskies 18-4. The Panthers have beaten the Huskies the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Huskies has come to flipping the script.

Pittsburg's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gorham, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
