They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders. Kylee Marlatt was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
