Cumberland Valley Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Shalom Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Shalom Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Greenwood, but they still walked away with a 60-54 victory. Given Shalom Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Greenwood is ranked 524th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley Christian managed to keep up with GVCS Broadfording until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cumberland Valley Christian suffered a rough 68-47 defeat at the hands of GVCS Broadfording.
Shalom Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Cumberland Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Shalom Christian Academy strolled past Cumberland Valley Christian when the teams last played back in January by a score of 55-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shalom Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
