Given Shalom Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Greenwood is ranked 524th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley Christian managed to keep up with GVCS Broadfording until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cumberland Valley Christian suffered a rough 68-47 defeat at the hands of GVCS Broadfording.
Shalom Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Cumberland Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Shalom Christian Academy strolled past Cumberland Valley Christian when the teams last played back in January by a score of 55-38.
