The All Saints Episcopal Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-36 to Brook Hill. While losing is never fun, All Saints Episcopal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1062nd, while Brook Hill is ranked 479th).
Despite the defeat, All Saints Episcopal saw an underclassman step up: Caz Franks dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Franks scored a full 50% of All Saints Episcopal's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Hill, who scored ten points.
All Saints Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Brook Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
All Saints Episcopal will head out on the road to face off against Vanguard College Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vanguard College Prep is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Brook Hill, they will be playing at home against Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
