Stuart W. Cramer struggled with threes on Tuesday (Huss had five more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Stuart W. Cramer took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Huss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Gavin Jordan, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Sykes, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Ashbrook didn't have too much trouble with Shelby at home on Wednesday as they won 51-35. Given Ashbrook's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Shelby is ranked 198th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Stuart W. Cramer has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Ashbrook, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
Stuart W. Cramer came up short against Ashbrook in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 53-41. Thankfully for Stuart W. Cramer, Jashaun Clark (who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
