The Innovation Bulls are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Ocoee Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Innovation came out on top against Lake Nona on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Bulls blew past the Lions 14-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulls considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Berit Acker made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Acker was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alexcia Roman was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Serenity Alexander was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Innovation was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .615. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Ocoee put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against West Orange. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted against the Warriors since March 1, 2017.
Jadore Thompson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, Camilla Delgado was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Akya Feacher, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Ocoee's record now sits at 3-0. As for Innovation, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
