New Trier waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Glenbrook South Titans  a   6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trevians, who have now won six contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
New Trier pushed their record up to 14-4 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Glenbrook South, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record  this season.
