Aledo extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-9. They put the hurt on the Azle Hornets with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bearcats have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Rylee Marx made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
