Vance was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news, Newman Central Catholic got a  massive  performance out of  Amiya Rodriguez, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  Rodriguez has posted since back in April of 2024.  Anna Propheter was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with five  RBI and one  run.
 Looking ahead, Hall will head out on the road to  challenge  Illinois Valley Central  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grey Ghosts have averaged an impressive 8.8  runs per game this season. As for Newman Central Catholic, they will take on Mendota at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
