Page scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Owasso, 38-21. At the time, the Rams were ranked 15th in the state, while the Sandites were 35th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Stillwater, who took down 42nd ranked Enid, 43-27. John Littell threw for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 103 yards during the win.
Dayton Campbell made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Pioneers bested the Plainsmen. The 5-foot-11 junior grabbed 2 sacks.
Slade Nordic had a great week catching the football as Bartlesville topped Ponca City. He caught 10 passes for 240 yards.
Colton Penrod threw for 436 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 23-33 with 0 interceptions.
Nordic was the best wideout in 6A District 1 this week as the Bruins bested the Wildcats. Nordic racked up 10 receptions for 240 yards. Kyle Carter helped Bartlesville's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 70 yards.
Bartlesville's Penrod and Nordic led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Penrod has thrown for 2,558 yards this season, while Nordic has 69 catches for 1,098 yards. TYLER ADKINS from Union leads the league in rushing with 1,071 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when John McKee's team takes on Washington. At the moment, the Bruins are in fourth, while the Hornets are in second.
Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A District 1 this week, the Redskins beat Washington 49-23. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
