The Emmonak Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Scammon Bay 87-58. Emmonak has struggled against Scammon Bay recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Scammon Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Sundown out in front who scored 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stewie Sundown, who scored 22 points.
Emmonak bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Scammon Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
