Baseball Recap: Moss Shuts Out Crowder

Moss came out on top against Crowder on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. They never let the Demons get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on three straight.

Moss let Jameson O'Kelley and Easton Smith run wild. O'Kelley went a perfect 3-for-3 while logging 5 RBIs, 1 double, and 1 run, while Smith went a perfect 2-for-2 while logging 2 stolen bases, 3 runs, and 1 double. The game also marked Smith's fifth in a row in which he got on base at least two times. Another player making a difference was Levi Foster, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances while posting 2 stolen bases, 2 runs, and 1 walk.

The victory improved Moss' record to 3-3. As for Crowder, they are now 3-3, having gone 3-2 since their four-game losing streak ended.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moss will square off against Caney at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crowder, they will take on Indianola at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
