The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ragsdale, who took down 109th ranked Glenn, 28-24. Alec Cobb threw for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
Southwest Guilford fell to High Point Central 35-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ericc Cunningham threw for 109 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 39 yards in the loss.
Anthony Harding provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Northwest Guilford topped East Forsyth.
Harding was a beast in the backfield as the Vikings bested the Eagles.
He was 14-17 with 0 interceptions.
Antwone Vance was the best receiver in 4A Conference 8 this week as East Forsyth fell to Northwest Guilford. Vance racked up 8 receptions for 91 yards. Brian Gentry helped East Forsyth's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 64 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Jameel Mack of the Bison is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,367. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Rick Mack. The Southwest Guilford star has 50 catches for 819 yards.
The Tigers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,812 from 4,149. The improvement was largely due to a 28-24 victory over the Bobcats last week.
