Natalie Goode was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Meigs let Aubrey Newell and Kyleigh Kranyik run wild. Newell went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Kranyik went 1-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Ava Horn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
