Labette County will challenge Fort Scott on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Labette County are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Labette County beat Winfield 26-20 last Friday. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (20) and coasted on those for the victory.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their contest two weeks ago, Fort Scott were humbled. It was close but no cigar for Fort Scott as they fell 14-17 to Pittsburg.
Labette County's win lifted them to 3-1 while Fort Scott's loss dropped them down to 2-2. In their victory, Labette County relied heavily on senior Easton Dean, who picked up 110 yards on the ground and accumulated 200 passing yards. Fort Scott will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
