The Banneker Trojans will head out to  square off against the Dutchtown Bulldogs  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Banneker will be strutting in after a  win while Dutchtown will be coming in after a  loss.
Banneker played in conference for the first time  on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with  a   54-43  victory over Northgate.
 Banneker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jayda Copeland led the charge by  putting up nine points in addition to six  boards and five  assists. Another player making a difference was  Armoni Rogers, who  dropped  a double-double on ten  points and 11  rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dutchtown came up short against Morrow on Tuesday and fell  55-42. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Banneker will need focus on slowing down  Li'Ara Stephenson, one of several Dutchtown players who made an impact when they last played. She  posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tinaya Howell, who  had four  points.
 Banneker's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Dutchtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
