 In other batting news,  Ethan Thompson was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 2-for-2. Those  four  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Weston Jenkins, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Hulbert was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oaks-Mission only posted a  batting average of  .067.
Hulbert's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Oaks-Mission,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Looking ahead, Hulbert will face off against Haskell at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oaks-Mission, they will take on Cave Springs at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
