Lockport had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Andrew Thunderbolts 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

Lockport had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Aiden Morgan paced Lockport's offense, picking up 11 kills. Morgan got some help from Ryan Dziadkowiec and his 26 assists. Dziadkowiec was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Lockport's win bumped their record up to 15-19. As for Andrew, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-22.

Lockport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Joliet Catholic on the 24th. As for Andrew, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Kankakee on the 24th.
