That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was even better at the plate, firing off three home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, McMichael got a massive performance out of Samantha Hopson, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave Hopson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
McMichael was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .630. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in ten consecutive matches.
