Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Foster, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sammamish is set to challenge their familiar foe Cedarcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the RedHawks have won five straight at home, while the Red Wolves won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Foster will square off against rival Renton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
