They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cambridge 61-33 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Dundy County-Stratton has posted against Cambridge since December 28, 2020.
Dundy County-Stratton was led to victory by Lane Bybee and Jackson Kerchal. Bybee scored 18 points along with nine rebounds, while Kerchal scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Kerchal has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Brown, who scored five points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Cambridge still got an impressive performance from Brohdey Wood, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds. Wood hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 11 straight games.
Dundy County-Stratton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Cambridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Dundy County-Stratton will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Southwest on January 30th. Hopefully Southwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday. As for Cambridge, they will be playing at home against St. Patrick's at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
