After a string of four wins, the Seton Catholic Central Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a hard 58-39 fall against Northern Adirondack. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seton Catholic Central of the 41-24 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Seton Catholic Central still got an impressive performance from Grace Trombley, who scored 23 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trombley has scored all season. Emma Langlois was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals and two blocks.
Seton Catholic Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Northern Adirondack, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic Central will square off against Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northern Adirondack, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeastern Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeastern Clinton will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
