The Osborne Cardinals's 24-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over Kennesaw Mountain. The victory was just what Osborne needed coming off of a 53-22 defeat in their prior game.
Among those leading the charge was Nia Morgan, who scored 24 points. Maliya Washington was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Osborne's victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-14.
Osborne will take on Wheeler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wheeler presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Osborne in Georgia (Wheeler is ranked 212th, while Osborne is ranked 436th). As for Kennesaw Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Walton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
