Corbin Kyes Dazzles in Central City Win
Central City picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Corbin Kyes. Kyes turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 146 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Central City pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Kyes and Central City will host Aurora on Friday.

Parker Zikmund was instrumental in extending Central City's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Zikmund as he threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns.

Adams Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Wahlmeier and Adams Central will challenge Milford on Friday.

Sadly, Austin Imler posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Adams Central over Lincoln Christian on Friday. Imler wasn't messing around, making 22 total tackles. The game was his fifth straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.
This year, Imler has averaged 10.1 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging two total tackles per game.

Dent might have his next game, a road matchup with Aurora, circled on his calendar. When Dent last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he picked up 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
