Carson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jacob Ortega, who scored 11 points. Blake McCall was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Carson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Rancho Dominguez, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Arcadia at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th.
