Higley put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They blew past Standley Lake 14-4. The win was just what Higley needed coming off of a 9-3 loss in their prior matchup.
Luke Joslyn and Jordan Heraldez dominated on the mound. Joslyn tossed three innings while giving up no earned run off four hits (he also didn't allow any walks), while Heraldez pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Cooper Patterson was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Nick Patula, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
