The Beaver Beavers will be taking part in a tournament against the Morgan Trojans at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Beaver is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Beaver saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Manti. That's two games straight that the Beavers have won by exactly five runs.

Raider Blomquist made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabe Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Davis Carter, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Morgan was able to grind out a solid win over Emery on Friday, taking the game 13-10.
Karson Black was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Kanyon Leonelli was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
The victory got Morgan back to even at 2-2. As for Beaver, their record now sits at 4-0.
Saturday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Beaver has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like Morgan struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beaver couldn't quite finish off Morgan when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 6-4. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
