Raleigh-Egypt pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Memphis Business Academy at home by a decisive 81-63 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did back in November (55), Raleigh-Egypt still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Evansville Memorial pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Evansville Bosse by a score of 62-60.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Luke Ellspermann, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Evans, who scored 13 points.
Raleigh-Egypt now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Evansville Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
