The matchup between the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets and the Washington International Red Devils on Monday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Spencerville Adventist Academy took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington International.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was CJ Jenkins, who scored 13 points. Jenkins is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Reinhardt, who scored 12 points.
Spencerville Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Washington International, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Spencerville Adventist Academy will be playing at home against Living Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington International, they will square off against Field at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington International has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
