Inglemoor and Redmond are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Vikings will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Inglemoor 3.9, Redmond 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Wednesday, Inglemoor earned an 8-4 victory over Interlake. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Cooper Richter made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other pitching news, Brody Ledger looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Jeffery Myhre and Connor Dowell did most of the damage at the plate: Myhre got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Dowell went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Myhre has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Barnes, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Redmond won against Lynnwood on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Mustangs beat Bellevue by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.
The team relied heavily on Hiroshi Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Lance Burt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
Redmond always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellevue only posted an OBP of .348.
Redmond pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Inglemoor, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
Inglemoor couldn't quite get it done against Redmond in their previous matchup on April 4th as they fell 3-0. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
