The Greenwood Mennonite Flames just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Tri-State Christian Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on February 6th. Greenwood Mennonite is looking to tack on another W to their 14-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
In what's become a running theme this season, Greenwood Mennonite gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Meanwhile, Tri-State Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it three two weeks ago. They blew past ASPIRA Charter 57-19 at home. Tri-State Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Greenwood Mennonite's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Tri-State Christian, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Everything went Greenwood Mennonite's way against the Crusaders when the teams last played back in December of 2019 as the Flames made off with a 43-18 victory. Will Greenwood Mennonite repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
