After a string of five wins, Hebbronville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bracken Christian Warriors.

Federico Serna made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Moore, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Hebbronville's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Bracken Christian, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.
