The result came thanks to Hailey Holtz's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jocelyn Hird, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Madison Kunzer was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
