For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when North Caddo and Haynesville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The North Caddo Titans came out on top against the Haynesville Golden Tornado by a score of 6-1. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornado recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jackson Bynum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, North Caddo got a big performance out of Sal Byargeon, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Byargeon has posted since back in February of 2024. Jon Austin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

North Caddo's record now sits at 4-9. As for Haynesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Caddo will challenge Union Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haynesville, they will face off against Jonesboro-Hodge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
