Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Melbourne, as they earned their first away win of the season. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over Cocoa Beach on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won four in a row.

On the hitting side, Johnny Hemel and Bryce Conner did most of the damage at the plate: Hemel went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Conner fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave Conner a new career-high. Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Eau Gallie hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Melbourne struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
