In what's become a running theme this season, the Artesia Pioneers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Glenn 75-17 at home. The win was familiar territory for Artesia who now have three in a row.
Zion Staples continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Cj Okeke was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Artesia's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Glenn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
Artesia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Gate at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. As for Glenn, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastside Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
