Dylan Victoria turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Monday. He struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because St. James is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-9 otherwise.

Victoria's strong effort led St. James over Socastee and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sharks are 8-2 against the Braves going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
