When the Manning name is thrown around — no pun intended — football fans take notice. Especially in the South.
The newest Manning to take center stage is only 13 years old, though his video clip from the weekend looks like someone much older and more experienced.
His highlights have gone viral.
Arch Manning, the grandson of Archie Manning and nephew of Peyton and Eli, threw three touchdown passes in a spring game for
Newman (New Orleans, La.) on Friday and showed a strong, accurate arm, poise and superb feet.

Nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning will be a freshman at Newman (New Orleans) in the fall.
He can escape pressure and throw very well out of the pocket.
He's only an eighth-grader now, but will compete in the fall for the starting job as a freshman at Newman, where Peyton, Eli and their brother Cooper — Arch's dad — all attended.
"I think one of the things about Cooper, he grew up around it," Newman coach Nelson Stewart told the
Indianapolis Star. "Watching Cooper through the years, he's a guy who understands the game. And he's got two good uncles that have worked on some footwork, and throwing with him a little bit. … If you look at his mechanics and his release, he's further ahead than most we've had. I think he looks the part right now."
