It was a good run, but Fillmore unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Genesee Valley Jaguars by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fillmore's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Genesee Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Fillmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Genesee Valley, they will challenge Avoca Central at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
