Mylie Stout made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Shipley, who went 1-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Jessica Baker was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Clearwater fell victim to Riverview Sarasota and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 9-0.
Palm Harbor University's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clearwater, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both Palm Harbor University and Clearwater just can't seem to miss. Palm Harbor University has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Clearwater struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
