The Suitland Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Douglass 62-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Suitland has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Solomon Lewis, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was makhye mcknight, who scored eight points along with five assists and two steals.
Suitland has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Douglass, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
Suitland will be playing in front of their home fans against Friendly at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Friendly is ranked 206th, while Suitland is ranked 217th). As for Douglass, they will head out on the road to challenge Gwynn Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglass has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,423 points over their last 20 games.
