The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Broward Prep, who took down 265th ranked North Broward Prep, 40-18.
Inlet Grove moved up to 300 from 358 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A District 7. Inlet Grove climbed the ranks as a result of a 40-18 win over the Eagles.
North Broward Prep's dynamic duo of Kevin Bush and Damon Arnette proved tough for Inlet Grove to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bush threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns and Arnette had 70 yards receiving. Chris Taylor helped North Broward Prep's passing attack out by catching two balls for 21 yards.
Deion Pierre was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 152 yards as Somerset Academy fell to Inlet Grove. Abraham Sculley also contributed to the rushing game with 33 yards on the ground.
Eric Pierre made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Panthers defeated Archbishop Carroll. The 5-foot-6 defensive back grabbed two interceptions.
North Broward Prep's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bush has thrown for 806 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Arnette has 14 catches for 280 yards. Semar Smith leads the league in rushing with 447 yards.
Somerset Academy and the Bulldogs played the most hotly contested game in 4A District 7 this week, with Somerset Academy eventually emerging with a 42-39 victory. Pierre caught one passes for 31 yards in the win.
