Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scarsdale). They were the clear victor by a 63-39 margin over the Mount Vernon Knights on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Despite the loss, Mount Vernon still got an impressive performance from Tianna Patten, who posted 20 points. Tiandra MarTin was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory got Scarsdale back to even at 3-3. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Scarsdale will be playing at home against Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Mount Vernon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-35 defeat against Ursuline on the 27th.
