West Lincoln's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinlyn Avery, who posted six points and seven boards. Avery is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Emory Brown also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Bandys found their leader in sophomore Addison Bell, who almost dropped a double-double on 36 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lexi Vaughan, who earned eight points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.
West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Bandys, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
West Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-24 defeat against Maiden on the 28th. Bandys has also already played their next contest, a 60-41 loss against East Burke on the 28th.
