The Baldwin Braves stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Perry 86-14 on the road. Baldwin's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Baldwin to victory were Janaye Walker and Madison Ruff. Walker dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Ruff scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games she's played. Kassidy Neal was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The victory was the ninth in a row for Baldwin, bringing their record for this year to 13-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.89 points. As for Perry, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-8.
Baldwin on the road again on Monday and play against Lowndes at 10:00 a.m. on January 15th. Perry won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Peach County at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th.
