Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Orion). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 win over the Troy Colts on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since February 23rd.

Lake Orion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Troy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Orion will be home for the holidays to greet Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Troy and Oxford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Oxford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
