Carey won the last time they faced Bucyrus and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Redmen with a sharp 13-1 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Carey's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Bucyrus, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carey will host Buckeye Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bucyrus, they will welcome Mt. Gilead at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
